Persians

Of course the first things we notice about this one of a kind breed are their smushy faces and luxurious coat. You can't look one of these little guys in the face without swooning (and if you say you can, you're lying). Before you make one of our fluffy friends a part of your household we always reccomend learning everyhing you can about the Persian breed.

 

Temperment...

Being laid back, gentle and very human loving cats keep Persians a fan favorite. Our babies love to play, cuddle and basically be a part of everything you do. Their love can make reading a book a challenge and typing quite the task but hey, they are just trying to help ;)

 

Care and upkeep...

These little fluffy fluffs are high maintenance when it comes to grooming. Brushing your kitty once a day keeps them mat free and purring. It may sounds daunting, but since you will be spending a lot of time holding and petting your Persian, it really isn't difficult to find time to brush them. Also those cute smushy faces need to be wiped regularly to stay clean.

 

A little bit of history...

Even in this breed's beginnings they were considered precious cargo, right up there with jewels and gold. We aren't surprised. This destiguished kitty cat was even pictured in hieroglyphic references as early as 1684 B.C. which we think is pretty awesome!
